Diesel conversion

I am leaning twords putting a diesel into my 1990 RRC. Does anyong have any ideas or can anyong point me the right direction. I know a bit about the HS 2.8 and know that there is an isuza out there but that is about it. Is the TDI something that is feasable? If anyong has expereince in swapping a diesel for a V8 please let me know. I am on the couch with a new ACL right now so this project won't be taken on for a while. Thanks Dan
