abs pump rebuilds??

is there any companys out there that rebuilds abs brake pumps?
or is this a remove and replace item on the 93 classics?

ABS pump

Ref the ABS pump, its our belief that, due to safety and set-up issues, that it is unwise to rebuild ABS pumps.
RN offers :-

1. RNH289 ABS pump Genuine Landrover $1195. > VIN PA632922
1. RNH290 ABS pump Genuine Landrover $ 939.75 VIN PA632923>

Both are currently available from stock.

Going by experience rebuilt pumps don't work anyway. When my pump died I tried TWO different rebuilt pumps and neither worked properly.

I know they're expensive, but don't waste your time with the rebuilt pumps.

Better yet, is it at all appropriate to use a vendor's site to ask for less expensive alternatives to what that vendor offers?
