Transmission in 89 RR with 200k. Never have had an issue with it and have had kit done at least every 50k.
Recently is doesn't want to shift into 4th when cold...only 3 or 4 times in last 40days. Then last week it would not go into Reverse after a short stop, at normal temp. When I tried to put in R, it made absolutley no indication of ingaging. 5mins later went into R fine after driven. Has not repeated the reverse issue....just the 1 time.
Anyone have any ideas?
How many miles is typical on the trans?
If this is the beginning of the end...I don't mind sourcing decent used unit and installing before it strands me 500mi from home.
