93 RRC - cup holders

I know this is superficial...but.....has anybody ever fit the Disco 1 jumbo cup holders to their pre-95 classic?

I miss those cup holders I had in my (R.I.P.) Disco. The holders in the cubby aren't cutting it......I have to reach backwards and the 3 year old keeps playing with the lid.

Any other suggestions? (I am a coffee addict and my daily drive to work is about 40 miles one way).

Superficial maybe, but very handy. The Disco cup holders will fit without a problem. They are one of the first "upgrades" I have done on both of the classics I've had.

WHAT ! Your '93 RRC didn't COME with Disco cupholders screwed to the console ! I hope you got some money off the price

Seriously though, I'm in the exact same scenario, I have a long daily commute and a serious caffeine addiction. In my first RRC, a '93 also, it was the first thing I did and when I upgraded to a '95..........I did it again. And the '95 HAD cup holders in the dash. I preferred the Disco 'upgrade'

I'll assume then that the 93' console will still be able to handle those cup holders.

It seems most companies advertise them for 95'RRC but not older ones.

Those in dash cup holders weren't very handy. I added the console cup holders to my Disco and now I can't go back!
