    off-road damage

    wile off roading i bent my long tub and steering damper on my 93 rover on a rock or two. i want to get a better quality then stock but have trouble finding some thing better any idea?

    ballistic fabrication sells steering kits. you need to weld in tube adaptors and bolt on rod ends.

      As far as the steering damper, I would relocate it. I just damaged my month old bilstien damper and had to replace it. I went with the Rockware steering damper relocation kit for 110 plus a D90 bilstein steering damper for another 80 or so from RN. This was for my 89 RRC. They also have strengthened options for both the tie rod bar and front steering bar.

        keith over at rovertracks makes a pretty great replacement HD tie rod and steering arm with relocation and comes with a new damper. takes stock TREs. easy install. thats what i've got.

        rockware's stuff is good too.
