    1988 Range Rover dilema

So my 1988 Range Rover is on life support, I'm not sure whether I should spend the money or pull the plug. It's spent its life in the north east so it have the usual troublesome rust issues, it need new front prop and new exhaust system, and a little body work The good points is that all of the electrics works never had any problems, and the engine has low miles on in under 100k. Is it worth it or should I save the money and save up for a new RR Classic. Another plus is that with this being off the road I'm back to driving "old reliable" my 73 series III every day.

As someone who also has an '88 rangie project, who has done a lot of rust repair in my life, and is fixing the rust on mine, I say find another one....It's a lot of work to fix, if you can't do it yourself then it's also a lot of $$$$$. When all said and done the truck isn't worth much anyway.

If you get the opportunity, watch the "Top Gear Bolivia Special" episode, great stuff and really shows off the Best4x4xFar. Best luck on your decision with your Classic, it's was amazing on the show in as rough a condition they started with.

I think I'm going to quit and sell my RR, going to list it up on the for sale section of the forum soon, it's an excellent parts truck.
