oil light flickers at idol

Hi

Ive got a new issue with my 1995 LWB here in Boston.

I went to take a quick run to the store yesterday (about 6 miles round trip) and when I went to leave and drive back home after maybe 15 min in the store, when I got to the first stoplight the oil light flickered on and off (the red one)

I went to pull over but as soon as i started driveing it went out. I drove home and when i got to the driveway the light light came on and flickered again as soon as i hit an idol, so i turned to rover off asap.

I checked my oil level and its fine.

Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this.

just updating for future users who might have a same issue

as i mentioned the oil light only came on when i was idling.
turns out the issue was a low idle and so once that got adjusted (new belt needed also) the problem seems to have been resolved (for now at least)
