02 RR - just refurbished my 2nd remote and don't have 4 digit key code

Does any one know what I can do. I just put together my P38 Remote Key fob kit on my 2nd remote but I didn't have any codes when I bought the vehicle. What or how can I get it to work?

Dealer Only

I've been told that the dealer will have to program the remote. I've also been told that they can get the codes using your VIN.
