I took my 2001 4.6 HSE into an auto electronic shop to have a viper 7901 alarm and remote start installed into my truck. they seem to be having a whole heap of issues and they are trying to tell me that it was actually not recommended to try and install remote start on that vehicle. Has anyone ever installed a remote start on their truck? i need sometype of positive reinforcement that this can be done or else its going to get ugly for these bafoons that told me they can do it with no problem.
