How the Hell do I OPEN THE HOOD???

All of a sudden, the hood wont open. Pull the latch, the right side will open but NOT the left. The bottom cable is loose behind the latch, and the top cable, which I presume goes to the left side..is tight. No amt. or pulling on the latch seems to want to let it release.

Any IdEaS???????????

yeah so it was a trip to a "real" mechanic, who found one of the cables had came off the sliding catch that grabs the plunger somehow. He rebuilt it, at the cost of $154 in labor.


BTW, this forum has got to get the award for "MOST DEAD".
