    SOLD - 63 109 Regular

63 109 regular, full canvas top. This is a civilian US 109 (two doors, tailgate, full canvas top) in good original stock condition. Vehicle originally from N California. purchased by me in 1988, now located in Boise, Idaho. Mileage when I purchased was 33K, current mileage is 83K.

Runs great, normal oil leaks. Has Weber carb, Fairey overdrive, rover OEM hand throttle, full hoop set and recent canvas top. Has original 2.25 engine with Roversnorth rebuilt unleaded 8:1 cylinder head. Has rebuilt generator, 12V neg ground, new distributor, MSD electronic ignition. Has Flex Fan radiator fan, and recently rebuilt original radiator. Has recent (10 year) new gas tank and new rear axle shafts. Has front free wheeling hubs (but I never unlock them). Has air overload ‘springs’ that I haven’t pumped up recently. Has great Hella headlights and excellent Kodiak heater/defrosters. Has custom Rovers North front bumper, and custom inertial reel three point seat/shoulder belts for driver and passenger. Has custom stainless steel braided flex brake hoses (greatly improves the stock brakes).

Original upholstery is appropriately worn. Turn signal works but does not self cancel. Horn switch not working properly. Original ignition key switch not working properly (has been discretely bypassed). Has AM/FM cassette, and CB radio behind passenger seat.
Body panels straight, original paint, very little rust, small dent in tailgate. Frame in great shape, (virtually no exposure to road salt). All instruments and lights work properly. Drives great. 16 inch radial tires are about 13 years old, but still OK.

This truck was my dependable daily driver for many years, but I haven’t been driving it enough the last few years. Truck comes with a bunch of assorted spare parts and Rover stuff. Asking $5,700
