1965 Series 2a. V8 powered and plenty of receipts!

    1965 Land Rover Series 2a V8 rover
1965 Land Rover Series 88 for sale. Serial number 241195B. I am the 3rd owner of this great truck. This truck runs and drives well. Its powered by a V8 rover engine with less than 5k on the new motor. This truck brakes on a dime. Many new parts and professionally installed by Jake Wright Limited rover specialist. Some info from the work done: Prepare and fit rover v8 engine, overhaul the transmission and fit high ratio transfer box, fit parabolic leaf springs, fit uprated radiator, cooling fan etc. repair and weld the new footwells, new chassis crossmember etc. Overhaul and renew the brake, hubs and steering etc. Here is a list of new additional parts added while at the shop: K & N air filter Water pump guage new servo kit battery lead + terminals pedal pivot accelerator cable mtg bracket pedal assy pin spring tension spring gaiter expansion tank recored uprated radiator fuel hoses electric cooling fan kit parabolic springs high ratio transfer case new battery new v8 engine assy clutch cover v8 fitting kit brake pipes footwells door pillars + brackets bulkhead bolts steering ball joints engine mounting slave cylinder electric fuel pump filler cap ballast resistor mudshields choke cable top hose bottom hose rear 1/4 chassis v8 conversion exhaust stop tail lamps anti freeze ignition coil jubilee clips brake/clutch fluid fuel pump mounting clutch plate wing clips/screws welding sundries engine oil gear oil gear box oil gearbox bearing spring clips handbrake shoes output oilseal hand brake spring gasket set door seals swivel housing swivel pin bearing railko bush wheel cylinders seal track hub oilseal retainer ring oil seal flexible brake hose brake shoes diff flange diff oilseal brake mater cylinder roof rack fuel filler hose battery clamp s/hand rear diff This v8 runs and drives very strong. Powerful enough to drive 70 to 80 mph but very quite inside. Very smooth ride because of the parabolic springs and shocks. The frame is very solid with a new rear cross member. Bulkhead is in good condition expect around the upper window rail. there is rust around that area. Truck is missing the back tail gate window. Front winch plate added for easy install. This is just a small list of items done to the truck. Plenty more receipts in additional to what i mentioned. Comes with full gal. roof rack. Everything is working properly including lights. If you need additional info or pics, please contact me. Make offer. Thank you.
