    1973 Series 3 for sale

I am trying to buy a house on somewhat short notice and trying to scrape the down payment together. Unfortunately this means the series III project is prime revenue generator.

The body needs to be reunited with the chassis:

    a) frame was swapped with a repaired non galvanized frame and hand painted with silver POR15 paint.
    b) leaf springs wear cleaned and painted with POR15 black paint then reassembled...they work great now
    c) new exhaust
    d) bulkhead was replaced with a series IIA unit, sandblasted, repaired, and painted marine blue
    e) bulkhead vents and front trim panel were also painted
    f) brand new radiator support painted in slate blue

    Safari roof

truck comes with all panels to complete and all brackets.
Engine ran well when project with started and has been covered for duration.

    $4000 or reasonable offer.

As I am moving out of my apartment and moving all my stuff into storage I have been taking pictures of all the components of the truck:

here are a few of the bulkhead. The paint is marine blue and it really needs to be in the sunlight to look blue...poor interior lighting makes it look almost gray. The photos of the rad support are the same color in better light:

A few pictures of the rear tub, roof, and door which were pulled off the truck as a unit and are currently resting up off the ground. Pictures are from when truck was assembled but these parts look the same today

I have had one or two requests concerning the possibility of just finishing the truck to look like an earlier one with the non fender mounted lights. I do actually have an earlier grill panel..it has surface rust but is solid...needs a good sand blast and paint. I think I also have a set of wings minus the headlights. i would be willing to swap these parts with the Series parts for the same price. The earlier grill is worth a considerable amount as it is not rotted. You can see the front panel in the mock-up of my full hybrid truck.

For a short period of time I will offer this project for $3000. If you come between now March 15th and bring $3000 cash I will let this go. After I close on the house the price will be back to $4000..if at all.
