1972 Land Rover Series III 88" - SOLD
Disclosure, I am not selling this vehicle. I am simply posting it for a customer.
VEHICLE IS SOLD
1972 Land Rover series III
2.25 Petrol
Left Hand Drive
43,000 miles
frame is good
body and firewall very good
Runs very good
front end s tight
upholestry is good except back of driver's seat is wornout
Brakes seem fine
E brake works
Fuel gage does not work
heater seems to work
exhaust is quiet
all doors open easly and latch properly
tires and wheels are good
one wiper arm is loose on the shaft I suspect shaft is destroyed
shifts easily in all gears does not pop out of gear
There is no overdrive
We are priced to sell at $7850.00 cash
I have driven this vehicle a few miles it seems to go very nicely could probably be driven
a reasonable distance home but it is 40 years old.
I am only a short distance from Eric Vansickle British Leland auto repair (207-967-5251) he might be willing to survey the vehicle for a fee he doesn't work cheap but he is excellant and within five miles. 764
