Series III LHD EX-MOD LWB in Phoenix

    Hi,

A recent move from the CA High Desert to downtown PHX leads me to want to find a new good home for my Series III LWB.

The truck was an FFR but has been converted to a GM 12v system. It has a MOD 5-Main rebuild in it (strong pulling non-oil burning) attached to the stock SIII tranny and a high-ratio x-case. The differentials are Salisbury (24 spline) front and rear. It is an original LHD truck with the reinforced chassis. The rear x-member and bulkhead outriggers have been replaced. The bulkhead and chassis are very good. It is riding on heavy-duty springs. The military oil-cooler, gun racks and pioneer set are all with the truck. Currently I have the truck running on a single tank, but the second tank and fuel switch gear are good and included. In addition to the high-ratio transfer case, the truck has 4-wheel disc brakes, high-back seats and the roll-bar (for use with the soft-top), electronic distributor and high-torque starter. The soft-top is recent and in excellent condition. There is also a van sided hard-top that comes with the truck (in white). Spares include an recent Weber ich carb (I prefer the Zenith so rebuilt it and put it on), an extra set of 16' wheels (need stripping and painting), various seals, etc. The body panels are all straight and the paint is green and black camo.

This is my fourth Series Rover and I find this truck to be easy to live with and drove it regularly while in the desert.

It is located in downtown Phoenix and still on CA plates / registration which are good through February 2014.

I am asking $12,000 and would be happy to show it, answer questions or send pictures as requested.

    Thanks,

    Ben
