Hey everyone - been causally selling this rover in the past but now am getting serious with a price drop.
Bought this Rover from a Brit that owned it for 10 years prior to moving to the states and bringing it along. Great Series with the modernizing efforts as one of the last Series before the Defender. Very well cared for Series with the bonus of a 200 Tdi conversion. The previous owner acquired the vehicle after the conversion and was not certain of the exact miles on the motor. Current odometer reading is 118K. The motor is great and lives up to the reputation. The previous owner made two statements that got my attention to go look at the vehicle: that you may not find another series that hasn’t undergone a frame off restoration in this good of condition and wouldn’t hesitate to drive the this rover anywhere. It is a very nice example but by no means perfect due to age. Avoid the cost and hassle of importing! Titled and registered in NJ. Title in hand.

ORA locking hubs
Safari roof
Parabolic springs
A non-whining overdrive
Defender cloth seats
Swing away tire carrier
Tow hitch and wiring
Sun visor
The bad:
Exhaust system rusted away, needs to be replaced, I have the parts still to allow use as a template if you so choose
Fog lights don’t work
Rear defogger wiring needs to be replaced, heating element in window appears fine.
Very reluctant to sell.
Asking $9,500 or OBO; newborn baby driving sale.
