    For Sale: 1962 Ex-military Series IIA 88 RHD Soft Top

    1962 Series IIA Land Rover
    88” wheelbase with 2.25L gasoline engine.
    Former British military FFR (Fitted For Radio) vehicle
    Right hand drive.
    Runs and drives as it should. Odometer reads 12050 miles.

    Purchased in 1995, garaged in Nevada, and kept in deep storage since 2000. The “Sergeant Major” is fitted with NOS Weber carburetor, Fairey overdrive, military hitch, reinforced springs and “bash plates” on the rear axles, dual 11-gallon fuel tanks, military bumpers, more comfortable Series III seats, and an 8000lb Warn winch with 100’ of cable. Includes original Zenith carburetor, spare parts, repairs books, and original military service manual. Currently riding on four 16x6.5 military tube rims with high-traction agricultural tires. Included are a spare 16x6.5 military tube rim with agricultural tire and four civilian rims with 16x7.5 road tires. Good olive drab soft top included with spares.

    Needs horn, paint, bodywork (small rust holes in passenger door frame and driver footwell), clutch adjustment, and upholstery repair. Two new fuel sending units were recently installed, but are not connected.
