    1959 Series II

    1959 Series II Land Rover
    Location: Bozeman, MT

    New Price $9750

“Pinky” (not sure where the name originated but it dates back at least three owners) has spent most, if not all of its life in the dry air of Montana. It is a mostly stock and mostly original Series II that is fully functional and drivable. The truck is road ready yet has had <700 miles in the last 7 years. Total mileage is unknown as the odometer didn’t work when I purchased it (new one has been installed). It has been garaged for the last year except for short trips around town. I reluctantly have to sell it due to having kids and it no longer being practical to keep a two seater around as the spare car.

Of note: the truck was registered as a 1960 when I purchased it, and it remains that way. However, based on the chassis serial number (144902517) I believe it to be a 1959. (http://www.lrfaq.org/FAQ.3.Chassis_Numbers.html)

      Hello,

I am interested in your 88.

Is it still available? I am located in Portland, OR.

I had a 60 type II, and really regret letting it go

Sounds like the LR is in pretty good shape. Are there any urgent things that need to get done to it?

Would you trust it to make the trip from Missoula to Portland? (we all need adventures)

If you have any other pictures, I would like to see them. Probably easier to send to my email

      or text callawayrods@comcast.net (503) 989-9928 cell

      Thank you

          New price - $9750

There has been steady interest in the truck, but it seems like getting it out of MT has been the sticking point for a few people. I've lowered the price again and hopefully this will help take the edge off any shipping concerns. If you have a way to come get it without shipping, you definitely have an edge up! Cheers.
