1974 Land Rover Series 3 109 5 Door Safari Wagon

I am struggling with this decision but I am going to sell my series 3 109 safari wagon. It is modified but retains the classic series look but with more comfort than most old series trucks. It’s titled as a 74 and is RHD imported from England by the previous owner. He then started the extensive modifications. I picked her up from a dealer in Columbia SC in 2012. Since then she has been an expedition vehicle for exploring the US and Canada. The following a short list of what has been done. I would like to get $25k for it and that will be a great deal for someone! The parts alone between the PO and I run in the 50k range. Thanks for looking and give me a call with any questions. 906-282-0886

    Previous Owner:
    Galvanized frame
    New bulkhead-defender
    New transfer case and gearbox
Daihatsu 2.8l TDI conversion - not ideal in the US but is a common upgrade. Motor was installed in Kansas by a reputable shop. It is very reliable and fuel efficient. I have gotten most of the spares a person needs in the UK and I pack them into the back of the truck for trips.
BFG KO and new rims 5 total

    My additions:
ROAM disc brakes front - Stops on a dime
parabolic Springs - rides like an explorer.Dual circuit master cylinder - safer on the road
    Power steering and tilt
    - Steers and drives like a much newer vehicle.
Custom Aluminum radiator and Radiator Support - 4 core high cooling electric fans - runs nice and cool
Repaired front doors and new rear doors and custom aluminum Rear door with storage pocket
    Custom Tire Swing
Custom front Bumper and Warn 8274 Winch with synthetic line and tow bar
New Halogen Lightbulbs and Hella Lights
Roof Rack with Awning and ladder
Rear Battery with link to engine batter, 1200W Inverter, and solar charger
Custom leather seats in all positions
    Cleaned up and modernized interior

There are many more small modifications. This was really my baby and I set it up for overland adventures. Unfortunately I also love outdoor adventure businesses and am opening a new one that is going to take all my time and money over the next few years. I would love to keep it but I can have as many toys going forward and this one just hasn't been used like it should. The pictures don't do this truck justice. I like the patina so i left it a bit of a patchwork quilt. It is truly one of the nicest driving series truck in the country. If I could change one this It would be to a 200TDI with intercooler just so parts are more common. The Daihatsu is a great running and driving engine.
