ID:	174575Greetings fellow Rover enthusiast,

I have made the difficult decision to sell my series III rover. It has been a difficult decision as my intensions have always been to see her just the way I wanted her as a daily driver to work, but after years of work, bloody knuckles, etc. she is in much better shape than when I bought her, I just don't have the time anymore.

So, here are the following details on her. She runs good, smooth gear changes, needs break work. Frame appears solid with one small hole on forward drivers side. Please feel free to text or email me with questions or if you would like more pictures.

    1972 Series III Land Rover

    *Mileage: 79602
    *Hard top with rear windows
    * Folding back bench seats
    *Spare tire on hood
*Original color was light blue with white Hardtop, now Navy blue with white hard tow (some peeling paint)
*Body is in good shape, with a couple of dents.
*Interior is intact, but needs vinyl door panels and ceiling vinyl replaced.
*Lights, directional, emergency flashers and blower fan all in working order.

    Changes/improvements made:

*New fuel tank, Alternator, Clutch slave, rebuilt Starter & Radiator with all new hoses. Tune up completed by my mechanic this year.

    Issues:

    *Muffler needs to be replaced
*small hole in frame forward of drivers side - otherwise frame appears solid & has been treated over the years with fluid film like spray (see pics)
*Small hole driver side floor above level of accelerator (see Pic), otherwise floor intact
    *Needs break work
*Window tracks are rusted, but operational

Overall she is in good shape for her age and will make someone a good ride. Until breaks are repaired vehicle will need to be towed from Midcoast Maine to its new home.

    Asking: $8,500.00 or BO
