This is a 1984, Land Rover Series 3 (Santana), with the 88 inch / short wheelbase, with left-hand-drive and a removable hard-top, located in central Ohio. It is just arrived from salt-free Spain, and has effectively no corrosion or any other rot anywhere on the frame/body/etc. It is fully titled (Ohio), registered, and perfectly legal to transfer/sell.
This is the last year of this model, and wasn't even registered (when new) until '85. As such, this is very much one of the LAST-EVER built Series III vehicles, and has exceptionally low miles. I do haven annual safety inspection documentation from Spain, with recorded and verified mileage.
It has the 4-cyl, non-turbo, 2.25ltr engine, with a 4-speed manual transmission, and 2-speed transfer case.
No overdrive.
The exterior paint is in very good condition, but NOT original! It has had some body work done (see pictures), so there are some bondo cracks showing, as well as a patch on the back door. However these are very much superficial, and not very visible.
Interior paint is original and in excellent condition.
The seats are all recovered, but in excellent condition with no cracks, tearing, or any damage of any kind.
All panels (including wings) are in excellent condition, and the frame (including outriggers) is completely rust free and in excellent condition. Only the driver’s footwell is showing some wear, with slight surface rust, but no corrosion.
Overall, this is a mechanically excellent, exceptionally low-mileage, cosmetically very good and perfectly functioning Land Rover Series III Santana.
