FOR SALE: 1963 S 2A 88 (Excellent Condition)
It's time to let go of my favorite toy. I am selling my 1963 Series 2A that I purchased in 2002. Once I purchased in 2002 it has never seen rain or snow. It has NEVER been used off road. IT was ALWAYS garage kept. The family car ended up living in the driveway near Chicago IL. I will list below specifics for my Rover:
> Purchased in 2002
> Restored from ground up by the previous owner in 2000
> The engine was rebuilt in 1996
> No rust ANYWHERE on the Rover
> The frame was painted with Dupont enamel
> After I purchased it I Waxoyled every part of the frame
> At the restoration the Rover got new springs; fuel tank; driveshaft; wiring loom
> It was converted to alternator and negative ground
> The differentials were checked and are within tolerances
> New radiator in 2020
> New clutch slave and master cylinder in 2003
> Rocky Mountain "Rover Drive SX" overdrive added in 2005
> Carburetor rebuilt in 2020
> It also comes with the hardtop and all three doors that are in the same restored condition as the vehicle itself
This Rover is in EXCELLENT condition and I have most of the receipts and other paperwork. The price is $35,000.
