Rear step for series 3 with military rear crossmember

Does anyone have an idea where I could get a rear step that would attach to a series 3 88 military cross member. The folding steps I have seen apparently are only for the civilian rear Cross members.

There are aftermarket fixed steps available from several sources that bolts to where the tow hitch mounts. I have the left half step on the wife's civilian chassis 109. IIRC the hitch bolt holes military chassis have a different spacing than the military chassis, but you could likely modify the step to fit, I often see them available on the big auction site.

I can measure the bolt spacing on my ex MOD chassis and the wife's truck, if needed.

The important thing is not just a proper fit, but also load distribution, because the rear step bears the direct load when climbing in and out; if you use civilian parts and modify them without calculating the force and mounting position, it can cause the cross member to bend or crack in the long run, so it's best to accurately measure the dimensions and redesign the plate or adapter accordingly.
