1971 Series IIA 88" Merc TD project

Due to unforseen circumstances, I am going to try and sell my 1971 Mercedes Turbo Diesel IIA 88" project.
Below is a partial list of the items this includes:
    New Galvanized Richards Chassis
Mercedes 5 cyl. Turbo Diesel that had approx 212K when removed. Lower pan modified to clear axle
    Mercedes 240D flywheel neutrally balanced
    Correct Flywheel bolts
    Brand new 240D clutch Kit
    Brand new slave cylinder
    Fully Rebuilt NP435 Transmission
    Custom NP435 Main shaft
    Engine to Trans adapter plate
    Series stock Transfer case
Transmission to Transfer case adapter plate
    New Parabolic Springs
    New Military Shackles and hardware
    New Pro-Comp Shocks
Toyota FJ62 Axles with 4.11 gears
    Toyota brakes
    Toyota power steering box
All series body panels including radiator support, bulkhead, rear tub, top and doors.
    New Brake lines

The hard work has been done. This truck needs someone who can finish it. It is currently a rolling chassis with drivetrain mounted. Not looking to part the truck, please inquire via pm if serious, I check this site several times a day. I will work on getting some pictures added. Asking $6500.
Truck is located in East Hartford, CT 06118.
    Thanks

Even though he's only 20 minutes away, I doubt I'll have time. I'm pretty busy in the sugarhouse this time of year.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has shown interest in my project. After taking another hard look at the situation, I have decided that I cannot sell this project now. Something else will have to give.
See you on the trail (someday).

                    Awesome!

Why don't you make a list of other series junk you have that you aren't going to use and post that up for sale?

                    Glad to hear it!

Back on the market. Will consider parting out or selling whole. Prefer to sell locally or to someone who can come and see what I have. I have some pictures but I dont think they do justice to what is there. I also have a lot of parts, including LT230 and LT77 (diesel version with short bellhousing).
                      Please PM if interested.
                      Thanks

Just to be clear, none of the crossmembers or engine mounts have been moved. The stock series drivetrain can be bolted in without issue.
Thanks to all that have shown interest so far.

I saw the rolling chassis and just wanted to let everyone know that this would make a great platform for any sort of frame-over. The Toyota axles fit very nicely to the rover springs and really the whole package is very enticing. Toyota axles will be mostly bullet proof under a series truck no matter what you powered it with.

I probably would have jumped on it if I didn't already have my own project going. Still on the fence though.
