Hi folks,
Originally a series 2 88 from the dealer in Willets, CA. Chopped by a former owner to install a volvo engine, then rescued by long time nor cal rover owner and converted to series 2a engine and tranny. Pickup truck cab, rear tailgate. We've had Stubby for 10 years and don't drive him any more. Many upgrades, from oldest to most recent: paint (flat dark blue with Limestone roof, flat needs redoing), upholstery, parabolics, engine rebuild, high ratio transfer case (basically same time as engine 3 years and 2K miles ago), BFG mud terrains. No rust, it's a nor cal truck. I'll take any pics you want. Right now, dirty and dusty from no use. front hub seals leaked on wheels. swivel ball seal on right side leaks. battery dead from no use, but the truck is essentially ready to be enjoyed by someone else. questions, email me. johnfhess@comcast.net
