Man you are selling? I've admired your project through your blog. Looks like a solid rover. Why, may I ask, are you getting rid of it?

Even though I had a lot of fun fixing / restoring this workhorse, I really needed a 4 door 109 so I could transport the kiddos too. (I tried giving them away or trading for parts but no takers)
I'm just glad to have helped save one of these from the field and made it useable again.

this might make your life easier....its a pain to have to go dig up an ad on another site when its easy enough to post it here too (here is your early Christmas Present).

        1973 Series 3 III Land Rover $8000
Sadly for sale, is my favorite restoration. 1973 series 3 land rover. Runs excellent, drives really nice (doesn't wander), good brakes all lights work. Road legal- drive it anywhere! Rochester carb, 61A delco alternator. Frame is excellent, bulkhead (firewall) is fantastic. Good paint, herculined, entire drivetrain and steering gone through. *See http://jims73rover.blogspot.com/ to see all the work that went into it.* Winch will be sold seperately. Not in a rush to sell, so make a decent offer. * Thanks for looking.

Care to offer up the details on your winch, and what you are asking for it? I've been looking for an older Warn to round out my project.

            Jim,
I like what you have done with the truck. I am looking to find an 88 in similar condition and take the ride you did. I'll be in the market for a truck in about 6 months. If you still have it, I'll try and get a hold of you and take a drive down from OKC. Good luck.

              Thanks

Thanks for posting it up- Merry Christmas back to ya. The winch is a warn 8724 that I've had for 10 years and a couple projects. It's more than enough for something of this weight class. I'm debating if the winch will go with it for the asking price.
