    1971 ambulance FS

Back on market after long winter and spring. Land Rover Series IIA ambulance, less than 12,000 original miles. Originally imported by Rovers North for me. No rust in frame or body, but shows its age cosmetically. Range Rover differentials and engine converted to Robert Davis Pontiac crossflow at 10,000 miles, making it a 70mph vehicle for trips. Brake booster system added. Lots more power than original LR engine. We planned to use it for camping and did a bit, but haven't used it in several years. This is the last year of the all metal land Rover interiors. Includes all the stretchers, and original gear. Pass thru to the drivers compartment. Very good Cooper tires. The frame used for the LR ambulance is a 109 5 door type so this could be an easy conversion by using a 5 Door wagon or long wheelbase pickup with a shot frame and engine. $7500.00 or best offer. Its not mine so I don't know if its still on the market but I think your best bet is to give Ron a call. I know he mentioned that it gets stored away in the winter.
