Selling my 1979 Landrover Series 3 109 original 2.25 liter 4 cylinder 4 spd manual, hesitant to see it go but its time, it has been my daily driver for 3 years now (owned it for 5years) it was purchased from an indivual in FL that imports Landrovers from the UK (yes its a right hand drive) Runs excellent, actual mileage estimated at 130K however engine was rebuilt rougly 6K miles ago. Plenty of work done to the truck over the years:
Broken Half Shaft at the moment price reduced to $5500.00

2. New Seats (waterproof harness sport seats) old style can bolt right in easily

4. New clutch slave cylinder
5. New Alternator (defender)
6. New custom sound dampening rubber matt interior (imported from the UK..Pricey!)
7. New Steel NATO wheel set with New Firestone Tires (6 new tires)
8. Defender 110 rack ladder
9. Safari Roof Rack
10. Defender Steering wheel
11. Defender side view mirrors and hinge set
12. New 1500.00 paint job (Newer Landrover Silver)

All in all a wonderful vehicle, but as most go it could use a few things and has some problems they are as follows:
Slight leak in front right brake cylinder, I need to add to the fluid level once in a while.
Great fire wall, no corrosion, however there is some corrosion on the frame, the rear leaf spring hangers in the back are resting inside the hangers, needs to be patched or ideally chassis replaced with a galvanized one.
