72 Series 3 for sale in CT

    Some assembly required!

Selling for a friend: 1972 Land Rover Series 3, in the beginning stages of a frame over
    · Looks like all the pieces are there for a reassembly.
    · New galvanized chassis
    · Two engines. One engine is the original and the other is a crate engine that appears new in the box. No history on either engine.
    · Transmission looks original to the truck and there is no history on it. There is a rear facing PTO output mounted on the rear of the transfer case.
    · Springs and shocks are new. Springs are showing surface rust from storage but appear well serviceable.
    · There is a minor dent in the driver’s side of the rear tub.
    · Some corrosion on the rear tub sides where there are some steel hammer rivets installed.
    · The bulkhead is rusting in the foot wells but they are repairable. The bulkhead upper and side posts appear to be rot free but will benefit from sanding and repainting.
    · As the pictures show, exterior paint has plenty of patina. Truck was originally light green with a white hard top.
    · No cracks or breaks in the dash. Dash also appears to have all the switches and gauges.
    · The truck sits on four 15 inch wheels with older tires mounted. A fifth wheel comes with the truck but no tire is mounted.
    · Asking Price is 5000

Assembly is available if need at an extra price
