    Wanted: 98/99 Disco I/95 RRC

Long shot here...but I'm looking for any of these models in either white or black. Looking for a cleaner car, if the car is clean enough I would also accept dark green or grey. Mostly looking for rust-free and minimal rusted trucks.

    Thanks!

Location is not an issue also.

Depends on condition. As I'll be adding quite a bit to the vehicle, I'd like to keep it under $6k. I know I won't find a great 95 RRC for that, but I have seen plenty of nice enough DIs for quite a bit less than that.

        Hello-
Not sure if you're still in the market for a 98 D1 but I'm the original owner of a Black LE w/ under 117k miles. It is very clean as far as rust goes but the paint is looking dull. No accidents. Besides the complimentary oils leaks as with most Rovers-she currently needs a new water pump (its working but getting noisy). She also has various electrical demons but I think a good check of grounds might solve the majority. Suspension is okay but that too needs consideration. Headliner is staring to sag a little but can be saved..no tares. That's the jist of where she is at but I'd be happy to answer any questions etc. as well as arrange an independant mechanic to go through the vehicle to assure you on every level. I have most all records and could provide details and pictures if there is any interest. This truck is a perfect platform to have the right owner bring her back to snuff & even take it to a level that I've failed to accomplish but always wanted too.
The vehicle is located in Los Angeles, California with a clean title. I'm firm at $2,500 and transport is buyers responsability.

PS I just joined the forum and noticed your inquiry....so you know, I have not offered this truck anywhere else and decided to reply because I've been struggling to keep up with her needs and have all but given up on the dream of investing a proper amount of time and $. I would be happy to see her go to someone that shares the passion for these vehicles and can give her the care she deserves....It has never broken down and always makes it home. The biggest problem with this truck is simply it's current owner.

Be patient and you will find a good one... My 98 LSE has 205k, all electrics work, paint is still very glossy, no mechanical problems whatsoever, interior is atleast a 9 if not a 10, no headliner sag, rips, tears or stains... I think the kicker is all fluids get changed on this truck twice as often as recommended and I am not in the rust belt or heavy sun...

Sorry, I should have updated this thread yesterday. I ended up purchasing a very clean Discovery II out of Mass. It was an Arizona, then Arkansas truck that has basically no rust. Thanks for the replies though!
