    WTB Series 2

    Hi All,

That college kid is still on the hunt for that series 2 Rover. Any leads would be helpful! Was speaking with a nice gentlemen about one up in Washington but after reaching back out I did not receive a response so am guessing it must have sold.

Open to any condition but the more patina the better! Not afraid of the work just would prefer not having to replace the frame or bulkhead! Please let me know, thanks!

just came across this now as I am in the first stages of Letting go of a project . So this is for anyone who can and wants to provide advice/guidance. It is my father’s series 2a-64 diesel , a project with plenty of patina. He claimed it was the first diesel in the us . Hate to say goodbye, but it’s time. …. Southern car, never exposed to salt. This rover deserves the love and care to finish the job. Engine needs some work, as does wiring harness, but it is all here and original. I know the complete history of this vehicle. Yes, it has been like a boat to me, costing too much, but also having given me and my siblings considerable pleasure. . I am hoping to establish and then get a fair price all while making sure it goes to a good home. Advice? Or Interest? Thanks, Jay
