Newbie questions: The bypass valve. If the cable is on the way in, am I bypassing the heater core, or is it the opposite ? There are three notches on the cable when I pull it out. The PO told me but I forgot. Also, I am painting the frame with rust encapsulator/ Extreme chassis black flat from East wood, would you do the wheel wells also or leave them bare? I know they wont rust, but they will corrode. I have no plans on making this a show truck so its more of an opinion. Thank you gents!

Unless you prime the wheel wells first, I don't think it will stick very well.
