    Default sudden power brake failure

Hi all, I am a newbie, with a newbie question. I am a car guy, and I have even had quite a few British ones. ( personal flaw. ) I have tended to stick with the old ones I can fix with wrenches etc. this Rover is so dang complicated I am a little out of my element.

I have a 94 County LWB with a growing list of troubles, but the one I find most troubling is a sudden loss of braking power, and the dash ECU, ABS, and Brake lights all illuminated. This, after sitting a day or so, and did not fail while driving.

Any (hopefully simple ) resolutions, or am I in line for another expensive round of repairs.

    Thanks in advance
    Karl
