Front leafs are off and new parabolics on front. Hopefully rear springs will be done tonight.

Wow new parabolics are on? What a difference in height!! About a 2 inch lift in front compared to old ride height and a 3 inch lift in rear. Of course the rear is pretty empty, no real load. I guess I need a roof rack now. I will get some pics posted in daylight.

Well the parabolics are on. They are a lot better than the older leaf springs. Ride is smoother and can tell the articulation is better. It seemed to have raised mine at 2"inches maybe 3" inches overall. My old leafs were rusted together and no movement. Old Napa shocks were rusted and stuck. I am sure new leaf or redone old original style leafs would be good to. But I think the articulation of the parabolics and the ride will be what i prefer. There is good and bad about both styles of leafs. One bolt in one leaf was crazy it had been bent at least a half inch do, like as in notched were leaf bushing would go. Next item on list is rock sliders and a roof rack. Then maybe I can start taking it apart for a quick restoration.
