Hi, I don't have a 2, but noticing your posts figure that you have been doing this awhile. Are you simply looking for where the mounting tab goes, or some other information?
Page 159 of the Land Rover 2-2A-3 owners workshop manual has a good diagram of the connection. That shows a tab welded to the frame with a hole that the male end of the hose goes through, is then held on with the nut, then the metal tube connects to that.
      But you probably knew that.
      Good luck,
      Wayne

yea I have done a number of brake jobs but all on SIII's which are a little different on front. Things just look a little tight when I place them like the manual shows. Would LOVE to see a picture!

Sorry, seem to be fresh out of IIA's here, but one would think that there would be plenty of folks on here that would have a good pic for you.
          Good luck with your search.

I have a '70 IIA with the original frame - I can take some pics this weekend. What exactly do you want to see? I just want to be sure to get what you need.

I would like to see the front brake hoses, particularly the orientation and where and how they connect to the frame/ hard line.
Also how long are the late 2A hoses. a 70IIa should be a perfect example.

Hmmmm this explains something, my marshland frame does not have that tab that these lines are connected to. Are they part of the frame or a piece attached to it.
                          Thanks for the pictures

Not from a 88, but from my '71 IIa 109 MoD Ambulance. Seems like they welded the Tab onto the Frame structure. Let me know if you need any more close ups from certain angles. I pulled the front tire so I could get better photo.
