I remember seeing someone on the forum that had made a reproduction of this warning plate. I need one. Any suggestions on where I could get a reproduction or an original in good and unfaded condition ?

Is this the one that talks about excessive wear if you use 4 wheel drive on the road for an extended time? The one on my truck is in good shape. If you decide to have one made I would be glad to take mine off and mail it to you as a template. I would expect it to be returned in a timely manner.

My buddy has a scanner. I'm not a cumpter guy so I would have to figure out what 600dpi is. On second thought another buddy owns a nice print/graphics shop in town. I'm sure he could scan it in 600dpi. I could also ask if he could make them. He's got some high dollar Eq.

Well if he can't, I do business with a print shop on a regular basis, and they can print to aluminum plates that would be a reasonable facsimile of the original. 600 dpi is 600 dots per inch, it's a resolution setting for the scanner.Comment

Yes, it is the red plate that talks about excessive tire wear. I do not have a scanner or a good example of the plate as mine is a bit faded. So I would be interested in buying one if a good reproduction can be made.Comment

I'm trying to get a hi res scan of this one:
When I do, I'll get a quote for the cost of having one printed on aluminum plate for you.Comment

This guy sells repoduction ones that don't say "The Rover Motor Company...." If you can live with that.
I was able to throw myself on the mercy of the Rover community and got a very very nice original one from Neil H. Maybe you could do the same.Comment

One of my friends over on the Series 2 club gave me this link, it should save a bit of fooling around.

I have a much smaller ( 0.875" x 3.875") one that I've just scanned....not in great condition. I can e-mail the .pdf to you if it will help. It came loose in my SII truck and I don't know where it goes.
