    I've had D1 steel wheels on my '80 SIII for a number of years and have had no issues with lugs nuts loosening. When an inspection guy asked about the lack of threads I told him they were made that way so the end of the lug stud wouldn't get damaged when off road.....

      So I mounted my RRC spare just to see how the studs fit....Don't know why pic's loaded upside down, I tried again and don't know how to delete the pic's....any help???

      I like the wheel, going to find two more....

        If oyu ever do it will be in the left hand side of the Rover not the right . . . unless you drive around backwards A LOT.

          Started cutting down my rims today!
          Taking one inch out of them. Took one cut than had to close up shop for the night... More to follow.
