Hello there fellow enthusiasts. A friend of mine knows where I can get a series II for a bargain.
I owned a Disco II and worked through all the idiosyncrasies with it...air bag, there amigos, etc. I have restored Triumph TR7, Porsche 944, and owned 325i convertible, many motorcycles and other cars. Currently driving an X5 and R1150GS.
I am a hobbyist with vehicles and don't mind new things.
Any way, back to the vehicle, I did a quick search on this site and came up with nothing. What are some things I need to be concerned with when looking a the Series LR? I am not too familiar with this vehicle, there are a few around in fields but not many being driven.
I have very little info on the vehicle, nor have I even seen it yet. I am assuming it is a type II, could be IIa...again unsure.
I will look at the chassis, from what I researched, the rear where the spring hangers mount causes some concerns.
What else...and/or a link to this information.
Thanking you all in advance.
