I like his Volvo 122s of all his inventory. Why is he calling a Series 2B a 101FC?
My advice to anyone looking for a series truck is basically pretty simple, but in order to understand why I say it, you have to be a patient person to start with: Buy the truck with the best bulkhead, you can find. Do not put too much emphasis on add-ons like ODs, winches, etc. I'd much prefer a smokey engine and good bulkhead, than vice versa.
Unless you are planning on Pebble Beach, you don't have to spend anywhere near $25K. This, of coarse, assumes you are going to be doing the work yourself, costing yourself out at roughly $0.00 per hour. IN 35+ years of owning series trucks, I honestly can't remember how many I have had, and doubt I've spent $25K on 3 trucks. The last 88 I did totally over was sold on this board for just under $11K and I would have had a hard time spending any more on it. I think the pics of it are still in the for sale section.
