I have a Series IIA 88 that I just replaced the brake and clutch master cylinder on. Clutch works fine. When I apply brake pressure, I get no pressure until after @ 3 pumps of the pedal. After pumping the brakes, brake fluid is bubbling out of a pinhole in the top of the reservoir cap. Is this just because the system has not been bled yet?
I have not bled the brake system yet because I cannot get the wheel cylinders free and the bleed screws on both rear tires have already been sheared off. I also notice small amounts of fluid around the connections on the new master cylinder even though they seem tight.
As far as bleeding the system, is my only option to grind the wheel cylinders off and replace everything? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
