According to the Production Records I downloaded in '05, 110 was among a batch of Units sent to Rover, San Francisco. 108 was begun 27 May '66 and finished 25 June '66. 110 started 10 May and finished 13 May. 108-111 were Marine Blue. 112-115 were Limestone. 116-118 were Light Green. 119-122 were Red. 122 began production 25 May and was completed 2 June '66

Questions about parts. Normally I would just buy everything at RN but I'm having a hard time translating parts from the parts manual and the 2.6 supplement to anything on RN site.

I pulled my radiator to boil it and while I was there I noticed my water pump was crappy so I want to get the following:

      Waterpump
      waterpump gasket
      waterpump elbow hose
      fan belt
      radiator top hose
      radiator bottom hose

Any ideas where I can get this stuff easily.

I'm also boiling my gas tank so I need
      Fuel pump
      Sender
      fuel Lines.

      Thanks

Nothing is easy when you try to buy parts for a very limited production Unit. Look at your parts manual. If the part you want has a * next to it, it was only used in our Unit. I have no source for * parts. Parts that don't have a * may be available from our Host. Ask for them by name, not Part Number. Attached is a lead on a Fuel Pump. Jim,

I don't carry any pumps for resale (I occasionally have a core that I rebuild and sell, but not often). Your best bet if you want to purchase a new pump is to get the AZX1500EN, which is the all electronic version of the pump that you have from Burlen Fuel Systems in England at: http://www.burlen.co.uk/ You can get them much cheaper there than anything you can find in the states, even with the shipping charges. Getting the all electronic version insures that it will work properly even after sitting on the shelf for 20 years.

        Cheers,
        Dave

Good Luck, email me if you need further help.

I should probably see if my pump works. I just figured it was smart to replace.

I will have to expand my search a little bit. I'm currently working on the cooling system so I need to find those hoses first.

Thanks for this. I was on the John Wearing site earlier and saw most things I need. I was under the impression that our engines were the Rover P4 110 which is the 2.6 not the 100 which is the 3.0.

They have water pumps for both. Which is it?

Unless the previous owner switched to a 3L engine, you have a 2.6L. I have both the Rover and Land Rover Shop Manuals, including the manual for the 110 3L and the 2.6. The LR 2.6 Shop Manual is a copy of the Rover Manual. I have not spent time studying the 3L, but have (perhaps incorrectly) believed that the difference between the two was the length of the stroke.

Here is the Factory window sticker, customs card and CA smog cert from #110. On the customs card you can see the engine info as 2622/110 which is the displacement (2.6l) and the engine type (Westlake head)

That is a really cool collection of provenance. You are lucky to have it.

You are most fortunate to have the documents. Clarence was actually shipped to a Baltimore Importer, who passed it on to the Silver Springs Area Dealer who sold it to me after installing Warn Hubs and Koenig Winch. I never saw the documents displayed by you. I do have a "Bill Of Sale" and the New Vehicle Warranty for Chassis 34300717A Engine Serial Number 34300706A made out in my name and dated 3/21/68
