    109 NADA Registry

One of the guys on another Land Rover forum started a registry of the 500 NAS 110 trucks that were produced. I think they have accounted for about 50 or 60 of the trucks thus far.

I would like to attempt to make a similar registry for the Land Rover 109 NADA (North American Dollar Area) 6 cylinder trucks produced for 1967 since there are only 811. All the NADA trucks should have a VIN# 34300001 thru 34300811. The last 3 digits is the # of your truck within the 811.

[If you have or know where a particular 109 NADA truck is located, please respond to this posting with your trucks #, where it is located, and any other information you care to share. I will compile a spreadsheet with the information provided.

    Thanks!
    Jeremy

[edit Thompson (TSR53/RN Admin - Rovers Magazine Creative / Art Director) will keep a running list on this first posting. Hopefully, this will allow for others to see the list grow].

          #160 here.
Now being pulled around (well almost) by a chevy 292.

          Matt,
I'd love to see piccies of your engine bay, particularly the radiator. Mine is in need of a lot of clean up and simplification. I may even go down the route of moving the front cross member forward about 1.5 - 2" to give clearance for a BIG radiator and aircon heat exchanger.

I'm also on the lookout for a replacement steering wheel as mine has succumbed to the mysterious melting.

          Cheers
          Gregor

Great idea, I had wondered if there was one out there. My family had one 25 years ago in Chicago, that was later sold to a bar owner up north. Would love to track it down. Unfortunately I have no record of the serial number, just memories of the dents we inflicted as teenagers. Maybe a photo of each as well?

Could be mistaken but I believe Ben Smith & Dixon Kenner of the LRFAQ have been compiling a NADA Six registry for some time now...I remember seeing a list of known survivors. Or am I thinking of Dormies?

                          Thanks guys!

I think I read somewhere online that there used to be a webpage with all the NADA trucks listed and their current condition, but apparently that website no longer exist or has dissappeared from the world wide web. Land Rover FAQ does have a list of all the NADA trucks with the VIN#, build start date, build finish date, and destination of delivery to North America.

Linus - I thought you'd given up on me selling my truck to you, but you didn't let me down. Maybe one day I'll sell you my truck. Let me get through a nice warm tinkering season (spring thru fall) to see how things go with making this truck go again. Where are you located, so I can add it to the registry with #601.

                          Thanks!

                              #15
#387 here, fully restored in 01. Been in the family since 85. Converted to chevy 6 sometime in the early nineties and converted back to the original engine by me.

I also have the chassis off #304, which I can only assume was dismantled for parts.
