marine blue, its just stating to take shape from a frame up "sympathetic restoration" after sitting for 5 years mostly on the walls of my garage oh and the frame made a very nice lawn ornament but I finally got around to the frame por-15 turned out nice but the factory drip marks really showed through the por-15 not to mention getting the relay out was quite the project
all new rubber rebuilt front end and all slave cylinders lots a new fixings but still a lot to do on every system and floor boards before its back on the road shooting for the end of the year
first sold middle of july 1969 in CA no import records
its been in the family in Sonoma county CA since 1975 weekend summer trips and rescued countless stuck vehicle's 1989 it was retired from a daily driver all service records back to the warranty book

happy birthday bugeye the big 40
Bugeye,
Thanks for your enthusiasm and your information.
Put down the whole VIN. It is located on the placard in the dash or yes, on the side of the horn, on your frame. The updated list is on the first entry in this post. Give me all of your information, and please post some pics, and I will get the list updated.
Thanks again,

If there is no heater (or a different one) sometimes folks run the snorkel through there to avoid cutting any metal.
Or the guy likes non-dusty air heating the cabin of his RoverLeave a comment:

Check out this "Bugeye" (in quotes for a reason). Not sure what to think about it.
VIN seems invalid, unless I am missing something. Could be an erroneous VIN placard.
Check out the shot of the wheel where in plain view is a missing lug nut.
Doesn't look in bad shape though. Daurie, do you know this vehicle?

For some reason,
I can't edit my first post in this thread to update the list. I have edited it before, what is the deal?Leave a comment:

Found another at the Portland ABFM last weekend. I don't have the serial number, but its owned by Rick Harrison out of Stanwood WA. He built it up with a military type theme. A quick google search found this older pic of it, as i unfortunately left my camera at home.

I never got a reply for the interested parts. On the guy with the long lost Rover, after closer examination of his photos I don't think the truck was his. I didn't want to lead him on a wild goose chase, nor entertain any offers if it really was his.Leave a comment:
