Looking for my old bugeye. I live in Burbank California and sold it to a guy in Pasadena. It had a dark green paint job with limestone roof from one of those discount auto paint places, diamond plate on the panels behind the rear wheels, grey powder coated full length roof rack with ladder in the rear.
The last time I saw it had some huge Ecco? stickers on the sides. I think it's still in California. I would like to buy it back as it was my first "real" rover.
Thanks,
Kevin

I promise I'm not "messin' around".. lol.. the pics are in post#3 sans the few things I've done to it (delco alt conv to name one). I want to know as bad as the rest of the registry about it's history... I'm sure Daurie will keep me motivated, as nice as his truck is...

As per Daurie's request in his 'new tire' thread.. I'm the new owner of the '69 he mentioned in post #3. While I'm not really new to LR, I am new to the Series trucks. And while I've not been here long, I must admit that the knowledge gained here already makes me that much more excited about my recent purchase.
When I gain more info about the history of my Bugeye, I'll be sure post it here. Thanks RN!! and it's patron's, for a great resource for this rookie!

Ive got one. 24435684F
Ive spent my entire life living on the west coast (WA, OR, CA) so I don't have the 'rust' experience that alot of you deal with, but my bugeye is by far the rustiest truck I have ever seen. As a result, I named it 'The Salt Lick' I thought about 'Brokeback', but that other implications. It came out of New Hampshire but it still has a faded 'West Stockbridge Compactor' sticker in the window, so it spent some time in Mass as well. It has been relegated to a parts support role. It some point it may be give a new lease and turn back into an actual truck, but at this point its 3rd in line behind my 109 pickup, and my 100 hybrid.

I think I love you.
Seriously, Thanks for your offering!! Love to hear information like that, and what a fabricator you must be to blacksmith your own replacement frame like that!
