    the number is APG723B

This is the UK type of number plate, which if true to the vehicle, is from a 1964 era vehicle.
The rear chassis member appears like a civilian type not the standard military, also the outer headlamps look like extra lamps someone has elected to add for some lighting needs.

        Les,

This thread has become a bit confusing. It seems that TriumphDaytona's first post is no longer here.

I don't know if you were responding to my inquiry about parking/signals lights, or not with your post quoted above, but I was referring to GordonFowler's question about this subject. Can you help?

        Thanks,
        Gary

            Gary,
I phoned Rovers North and spoke with Art. He did some checking and the clear glass beehive is the correct version. I will still try and track the date of manufacture of my Land Rover. It is no doubt a 69 and registered in 70 as was sometimes the case here.

                MBW-

If you want, you can post your VIN, and tell us about your vehicle and yourself, and I will add it to the registry.

                Glad you like!

                    '76 hi-cap

I have a 1976 Series III Hi-Cap (MHM349P) (Vin:94116214C) with hard top, done as a hybrid. The running gear is '80's Range Rover V-8, LT95 gearrbox. Several American style changes for reliability, the conversion was done in England and had to be updated for inspection here in PA..

Only picture I have right now. Mechanically in good condition considering the age. Some surface rust and moldy carpet I need to address. Also lots of old, unused mystery wiring
