Well, here is one of my rigs. It's a 1967 LW109 SIIA. I'm the 3rd owner & has been restored over 15 years ago. I'm looking to possibly sell soon...anyone interested?

What a beauty, some of us can only dream. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Andrew! Welcome to the board!
When did you move back to the states?

Hey Brother! I moved back in March. The truck arrived from southhampton in april. ALOT has happened!! I got married bought a house and have a Baby on the way.......man life rules! Glad to see you around.
After seeing series 3 guy pictures, I figured it's well time to toss another picture up to the board. Just a taster from a trip down south. Not such a great picture of the truck but it's the friends, event and location that really count with this one even if they aren't pictured.
Drive the Globe Vintage Rovers across Africa expedition.
I thought it looked familiar...I just watched the youtube videos of the trip a few days ago. Looks like a great time. I'm amazed at how the relatively enormous vehicles tend to do quite well on those trips. I'm less than amazed at how poorly BMW sedans do, however.
Back on topic (well, closer anyway):
Tim, Why is it that fairly stock airportables look so much more bad-arse than any other fairly stock series rovers?? My rover is getting very nervous and requests that you and everyone else with one, stop posting pics of your airportables!

Not completely stock but it does the job.
Just so you folks know, my truck is actually in serious need of repair. More to come on that later and in another post. But true to the series truck nature, it still gets me where I want to be and I'm happy for it. Even if I'm whiffing blue smoke from the dash and floorboards.
