Hello everybody...I'm new to this forum and just wanted to post some pics of my Series III. I also want to say thanks to new Rover friend Clint (crankin) a forum member and who lives only a few miles from me. Wahooo! Anyway, this is my Series...

Thanks...I was just looking at the pic and the leaves on the driveway match the finish on the truck. LOL. My plans are to paint it Army Olive Drab and use it as my daily driver for hauling around the house and showing at some of the local car shows. Its amazing how many smiles and thumbs up I get driving it. I also have a V8 motorcycle and it does not get the attention on the road as much as the Series does. I like this vehicle!

You are in good company if you are friends with Clint, has he shown you the Birmabright Brotherhood secret handshake yet? Nice looking truck!
Bad gas mileage gets you to some of the greatest places on earth.

You would not believe this truck. 109 Ex-mod (that I believe is Canadian), 8:1 compression, 5 bearing engine, salisbury axles. Bulkhead is prefect! The engine turns on the first crank and everything, and I mean everything is where it should be!

I agree with the good company stomper. No secret handshakes yet...I wasn't a member when I met him last night. However, I just registered in the Brotherhood so I would think the secret handshake is forthcoming...thanks for the comments on the 109.

crankin...thank-you for going over the mechanicals and operation of the vehicle with me...I learned a whole lot and also enjoyed meeting and talking rovers with you. Hope to get the fluids changed this week and place some miles on it. I'll give you a call in a week or so.

BTW...I saturated the leaf springs with that nice smelling silicone penetrating oil. Maybe, not as bouncy the next time I take it out...LOL!

Snowed here a bit today, have around 6" out, pulled a few out, had some fun, went around 60 miles, never once had an issue despite many hills.

This isn't my Rover but I found this picture online while I was searching for something else. This is NOT how I want to test out the water fording capabilities of my Rover.

I took one look at that picture and thought it looked like Nor Cal. I grew up in Humboldt. Where are you located?
