New to the group - Here is my 1974 Series III - Daihatsu 200 TDI, Galvanized Frame, Lots of new Parts including - Roamer Drive, 4spd gearbox/xfercase, 31" BFG's with new wheels, Solid body including new galv firewall and floor panels. I am going to paint her a nice light tan to match original with a white top and install the Interior out of a 93 blaser - gray leather. First job to convert to disc brakes and power steering. I may do the toyota FJ axle swap to get the discs. Then I will work on the interior and finish. Had the bug for a long time and finally found the right one.Click image for larger version

    New one

Well if anyone is following my saga....I sold the 1971 88" barnfind (post #788 in here), and she went to a great home in Sthn VA. Really enjoyed working on her and learning a lot. Here are some before(found) and after(sold) pictures of it.....

NOW.....a few of the new barn (field) find that is the next project. 1963 109"... Awesome frame, some footwell rust and a little bulkhead patching required...FABULOUS interior, with Alpine CD player and air conditioning!!!

First on the list is new doors and bonnet, then a new paintjob - probably Limestone to contrast with the black checkerplate...then I need to find a Brownchurch rack to really "set her up" properly....

    Enjoy
