Only new hoses, belts and new carb under the hood. Original clutch. The truck spent it's life in a warm garage

Long story short. In 1974 a doctor in Indiana bought two new Land Rovers. One he drove and beat the hell out of. The other he drove occasionally and kept in a garage every non-driving moment.

At some point in the very early 80's he emptied the gas tank, put the truck on blocks and every weekend injected gas into the carb with a hypodermic needle to run the engine. The interior is almost showroom and there is still grease pencil marks on the frame.

I sold my 110 a few years ago and a gentleman emailed me to see if I'd be interested in buying a Series 3. I said no I was looking for a Series 2, but send some photos. When the photos arrived I changed my mind pretty fast. The truck is a time capsule.

Nice truck. Mine had 26k miles. Same condition. That said every seal and piece of rubber had rotted and or hardened so master and slaves of brakes and clutch had to be replaced as did hoses and the water pump where the seal had hardened. Trust that was also done as well or does this truck have magic powers?

I thought my eyes were messing with me.

Yep, its the camera and possibly the shop lighting as well.
Its a nice red color. I hope to paint it green sometime in the future.

Had a chance to take off the front bumper and PTO winch to get rid of some old rusty tow bar bracket's.
Found some rust in the dumb irons to be addressed at a later date.
Mounted some lifting rings, a tow jaw and my old trusty shovel on the rover.
A little hard to see in the pic, sorry.

Nice Series! Your plate is for a 71 Series you might try and find one that ends in M or N.
