Thanks Tripp. A great garage find hiding out in the heart of Virginia. Also a pedigree of ECR so it was a no brainer.

Nothing special. New 3mm aluminum floor with new floor supports and top hats. Really wanted the corroded floor supports out as the electrostatic corrosion had eaten through the floor. I will though have a local auto paint shop prime and paint the floor in proper blue. I don't mind having faded bits alongside newly painted.

Looks like a nice project. What are you doing for a replacement floor?

    My Series III:

One of the last to be worked on by East Coast Rover before it focused solely on Defenders. They swapped out the frame and engine. Also brought various systems - suspension, brake lines, etc. back to par. Added the four point roll cage which can be seen under the hoop set. Thanks!... I guess I thought that swing-away mounts usually latched (and were supported) by a mount on the door, or in your case - tailgate, as well. No need for a picture - if there's nothing there!

    Cheers!

Nope. Was already painted when I got it. It's a decent paint job that looks better from about five feet away, but they painted over a lot of the sheet metal/rivet imperfections instead of removing them.
